At Guzo, we strive to provide a reliable and convenient experience for
our users and drivers. This cancellation policy outlines the guidelines and
procedures for cancelling rides or bookings made through our driving app
(referred to as "Guzo"). Please read this policy carefully to
understand our practices regarding cancellations.
User Cancellations
1.1 Users may cancel a ride or booking through the App before the driver
arrives at the designated pickup location or before the scheduled service time.
The cancellation options and timeframe may vary depending on the type of
service and local regulations.
1.2 Users may be subject to a cancellation fee if they cancel a ride or
booking within a specified time frame or excessively cancel multiple rides
without a valid reason. The cancellation fee amount and applicable timeframe
will be clearly communicated within the App.
1.3 To cancel a ride or booking, users should follow the cancellation
procedure provided within the App. The cancellation will be confirmed within
the App, and any applicable cancellation fee will be communicated to the user.
Driver Cancellations
2.1 Drivers are expected to fulfill the rides or bookings they accept
through the App. However, there may be circumstances beyond their control that
require a cancellation, such as vehicle breakdowns or unforeseen emergencies.
2.2 In the event of a driver cancellation, reasonable efforts will be
made to find an alternative driver or solution for the user. If an alternative
cannot be arranged, the user will be notified of the cancellation, and any
applicable refund or compensation will be provided as per the company's policy.
2.3 Drivers who frequently cancel rides without valid reasons may face
penalties or restrictions on their ability to use the App, as determined by
"Guzo".
Refunds and Compensation
3.1 Refunds or compensation for cancellations will be determined based
on the specific circumstances, local regulations, and the company's policies.
3.2 If a user is charged a cancellation fee due to their cancellation,
any refund or compensation will be provided as per the company's refund policy,
which may vary based on factors such as the time of cancellation, the service
type, and local regulations.
3.3 Refunds or compensation may be provided as a credit within the
user's App account or through the original payment method used for the booking.
3.4 The refunds usually take 3-7 working days to be credited to your original
payment method. The refund provided as credit within the user's App will take
24-48 hours.
Changes to the Cancellation Policy
4.1 We reserve the right to update or modify this cancellation policy at
any time. Any changes will be effective upon posting the revised policy on the
App. We encourage users to review the cancellation policy periodically for any
updates.
